MEFO-BOX
MEFO-BOX – the universal cleaning and transport basket
Standard design
in mesh width 4, 6 and 12 mm.
The standard version of the MEFO-BOX and all accessories are available adapted to the dimensions of the Standard and Euro series as well as various special series. In the Standard and Euro series, we offer the common MEFO-BOXes and the accessories in mesh widths 6 and 12 mm, some also in mesh width 4 mm. In the special series, sometimes only mesh width 12 mm is available, the range of accessories is limited here.
What you should know
Baskets with 12 mm mesh width have a larger mesh at the corners due to their design. Where necessary, we reduce this with an additional corner wire.
Version for heavy loads
in mesh width 12 mm
The MEFO-BOX version for heavy loads was specially developed for cleaning and transporting large and heavy parts. Thanks to thicker rounds (wire ø 4 mm compared to 3 mm for the standard version), you can achieve higher load and stacking capacities. The MEFO-BOX version for heavy loads is available with a mesh width of 12 mm. The adjustable lid in the version for heavy loads is available as an accessory. In addition, depending on the load, the inserting bottom (mesh width 12 mm), the clamping lid and the compartment rods with cotter pin (S-E) or nut (M-E) can be used in the standard version.
Lined MEFO-BOX
in small mesh width 1, 2, 3 or 4 mm.
For cleaning and transport of small parts in large quantities, the lined MEFO-BOX is the suitable container. It is based on the standard version in mesh width 12 mm. The MEFO-BOX and the supporting lid included in the scope of delivery, which is equipped with a special sealing frame, are both lined with wire fabric in mesh widths of 1, 2 or 3 mm. No adjusting or clamping lid can be inserted in lined MEFO-BOXes and they cannot be stacked with lids. If a cleaning batch is composed of several lined MEFO boxes, intermediate layers must be used. In rotating cleaning operations, these boxes may only be used in cleaning systems with automatic lid, otherwise they must be additionally fitted with Camloc snap-closings. Lined MEFO boxes with lid can be up to 5 mm higher than the nominal height, depending on the mesh width, and stacked baskets with intermediate layer can be up to 10 mm higher.
