Precision parts must be extremely clean. Part-specific workpiece holders during cleaning contribute to this. However, as a result of shorter product life cycles, a further increase in variety or a rapidly changing range of parts, the cleaning baskets adapted to the part geometry have to be replaced at ever shorter intervals. High investment costs have an impact on unit costs and thus on competitiveness. The solution in these cases is a flexible system of baskets and lids of the MEFO-BOX system combined with part-specific accessories.

Part-specific workpiece holders are recommended for:

  • Large quantities per part

  • Maximum throughput in the cleaning machine

  • Additional handling prior to or after cleaning, such as automatic assembly from the workpiece holder or removal from or loading into blister packs

  • Critical surfaces of the components (e.g. machined surfaces)

  • Complex geometries of the components
